Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was neat and clean, but the room was too small without proper heating; had to change rooms. The staff was accommodating and friendly, even offering us a room with great views. The location was convenient, close to stores and transportation. The dining options were limited, not as advertised. The hotel facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel has a nice appearance and is super small, offering limited space in the rooms. The rooms lack essential furniture like chairs and desks, except for bedside tables taken up by lamps. However, the rooms were not always properly cleaned during our stay.
The hotel was conveniently located in the city center, right in the middle of the magnificent mile, making it perfect for sightseeing and close to many major attractions and cool restaurants/bars. The rooms were adequate for an overnight stay, but noise from other guests talking loudly throughout the night and early morning was a bit disturbing. The service was great, with very friendly and helpful staff, but some lacked a welcoming attitude. Dining options were varied with restaurants nearby. The facilities were decent overall.
I loved the spot-on location of the hotel, near the Loop and the Lake, making it perfect for sightseeing and exploring while being close to North Michigan Avenue. The rooms felt cozy but somewhat cramped, giving a European vibe. The service was friendly and accommodating, although there was a slight hiccup when my son left a bag behind. Overall, a prime location for travelers with good service.
The hotel's rooms looked nothing like the pictures at first, and they even caught fire, making the room smell like plastic until they relocated me. The room was small, typical of downtown/older Chicago hotels for the size and weekday rate.
The hotel's location was convenient; right next to the elevator and ice station but comfortable. There were some disturbances from loud underage partygoers in adjacent rooms and hallways. The service was very friendly, especially at check-in, offering laundry, valet parking, welcome drink, tours/ticket assistance, and happy hour. The location was perfect for moving kids into Columbia College but slightly noisy from the hospital. However, it's a fantastic spot for easy access to downtown and Michigan Ave. The dining options were recommended but the quality could be below average. Overall, the hotel provided a mix of positives and negatives for a stay.
The hotel is very compact but not uncomfortable, with a nice look. I had a corner room that, although a little small for 4 people, was clean and silent. It was smallish and could have used more lighting.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean, but the towels and sheets looked worn out, and the room felt a bit cramped despite being on a high floor. The service was friendly but somewhat inefficient. The location was excellent for exploring the city, but there was a bit of a walk to Union Station. The dining options were limited despite the advertisement, and the facilities were standard.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The location was perfect, right off Magnificent Mile and within walking distance of almost everything downtown Chicago has to offer. However, there were some issues with the cleanliness of the rooms, as they smelled like cigarettes and had not been properly vacuumed during our stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The size of the room was a bit cramped with two double beds, but considering the price, it was still acceptable. The service was a bit lacking as one staff member was rude, but overall, it was helpful. The location was definitely the highlight, surrounded by fantastic places to explore and dine. The dining options were sufficient, and there were convenient facilities available.
I couldn't believe how amazing it was to have a coffee machine in the room! Despite the rooms being a bit on the small side, every other aspect of my stay was top-notch. The staff, although super friendly and helpful, seemed a bit overworked and things slipped through the cracks occasionally.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was compact but efficiently designed, although being so close to the 5th floor elevator was quite bothersome for what was meant to be a relaxing getaway. The service was a mixed bag, with standout assistance from Vianca but lacking overall. The location was superb, offering easy access to the Magnificent Mile shopping district and other attractions. Dining options were average, with recommendations needed for better experiences.
